EMPLOY work seekers from the DreamWorker database. CREATE EMPLOYMENT, any time and every time you can. When you are about to do something menial at home or at work, ask yourself – “could I give a person a day’s work doing this job for me, instead of doing it myself?” FUND the Link of Love programme. Buy vouchers at R100 a day to sponsor days of work for the unemployed, who will be sent out into the community to care for the elderly, help people with Aids or tend township gardens. REFER your friends and colleagues to DreamWorker. Spread the word, tell people about us. INTRODUCE us to media colleagues, INVITE us to networking sessions etc etc. Help FUND the establishment of further offices of Dreamworker. Or REFER us to potential funders, both local and overseas. Help fund our CAPACITY BUILDING programme. There is a huge need for all kinds of skills enhancement. Most importantly, literacy and numeracy skills need to be upgraded across all levels. Help fund a MOBILE UNIT for recruitment in the disadvantaged areas. Travelling to our office is prohibitive for many people who are unemployed and simply do not have taxi fare. Our dream is to have a mobile recruitment unit operating across the Cape Metropole. |
