We are committed to the agenda of social transformation that is embodied in the principle of social justice and the Bill of Rights contained in our Constitution. We endeavour to create a better life for the poor, vulnerable and excluded people in our society.

This is the vision of the Department of Social Development, who are the principal funders of the DreamWorker programme until 2011.

It is this vision that has inspired the department to look towards alleviating poverty through assisting the unemployed to find work.  This forms part of a far broader vision – to halve unemployment in the Western Cape by 2014.

DreamWorker was invited to the launch of DSD soup kitchens in Oct 08.

DreamWorker will be working closely with other community organizations to assist the unemployed in the Cape Metropole and beyond.
